The base of the chevet of this large church is Romanesque but multiple restorations over the centuries have modified its general appearance. The decoration of arcatures on the outside of the apse is typical of the 12th century in the region. The bell-tower-porch from the 14th-15th century originally had defensive and community gathering functions. The beautiful interior furnishings come partly from the Abbey of Saint-Jean de la Castelle.
