Park ,  Decorative arts ,  Fine arts ,  History ,  Castle ,  Fortified castle ,  Historic site and monument in Morlanne
From :  5 Full-fare
  • Built in 1373, by the half-brother of Gaston Fébus, this brick fortress has been the subject of rigorous restoration. Raymond Ritter, a scholar and enthusiast of history, literature and art, and Hélène, his wife, have recreated the original architecture. The Château appears to have traversed intact the six centuries of its history. It dominates the village, whose main street lined with old 17th and 18th century residences, links it to the Maison Belluix and the 14th century fortified church.
