It is the work of Canon Jean-Baptiste Descorps who was the parish priest of the commune from 1902 to 1962 and who also decorated the church with frescoes, paintings including "the handing over of keys to Saint Peter" and a Christ on the cross. The view from the top of the church tower is impressive.
